              Qualification : In order to secure admission to first year of two 
              year full time MBA/MMS programme, the candidate should fulfill the 
              following eligibility criteria. Passed with minimum of 45% marks 
              in aggregate * (40% in case of backward class candidates from Maharashtra 
              state only) in any Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration 
              in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. 
               
              OR  
              Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor's degree 
              of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by 
              the Association of Indian Universities. [N.B. Candidates appeared 
              for final year examination fulfilling the remaining eligibility 
              criteria will be offered provisional admission subject of the condition 
              that they will pass the examination with the required percentage 
              of marks on or before 31st August 2006.] Eligibility criteria would 
              be as per the direction laid down by the Government of Maharashtra 
              and the University of Mumbai Authorities from time to time. The 
              candidates must produce the mark sheets for the qualifying examination 
              on or before 31st December, and the provisional eligibility certificate 
              on or before 7th September. If the candidate fails to produce the 
              above he/she will be ineligible for admission to the course. These 
              are as per the directions of the Government of Maharashtra. Candidates 
              who are graduates of University of Mumbai will be required to produce 
              a transference certificate from the constituent college of the University 
              last attended by them. Candidates who are graduates of other Universities 
              will be required to produce at least a provisional statement of 
              eligibility issued by the Registrar, University of Mumbai, declaring 
              them eligible for admission to the course. The candidates would 
              be advised by the office about the fees payable for the eligibility 
              certificate/migration certificate.  
            About 
              the MMS Degree Course  
              The MMS Degree Course is spread over four semesters with the first 
              two semesters addressing the core papers, ten papers in each semester. 
              The third and fourth semesters are a mixture of core courses and 
              voluntary courses in the chosen area of interest. (Optional groups). 
               
              An overview of the different papers (core and voluntary) is presented 
              in Annexures One to Three.  
              Program of Study and Syllabi  
              The course of study is outlined in the Annexures under the heading. 
              An overview of Program of Study. All the subjects for the first 
              year study (first two semesters) are compulsory. For the second 
              year the candidates can choose any one of the following streams/disciplines.

              Finance  
              Operations  
              Personnel  
              Systems Management 
              Limited choice of subjects within the area of selected groups is
